Metrol Springs hosts its annual charity event, raising £3,433 for The Lewis Foundation
On Friday, 27th March, we hosted our annual charity event to raise money for a local charity, The Lewis Foundation, based in Northamptonshire, UK.
The Lewis Foundation are dedicated to supporting adult cancer patients throughout their hospital journey. Their amazing team hand-delivers gift packages to patients across 17 hospitals in the Midlands and East of England, determined to bring people joy each week.
The day consisted of all employees being split into two teams, competing against each other on exercise bikes and rowing machines to see who could cover the most distance across nine hours. In total, we achieved an incredible 513.54 km covered, with Dan’s team covering the most distance.
We also held a bake / home-cooked meal sale and an auction for a signed Northampton Town Football Club 2025-2026 shirt. All of this helped us to beat our target and raise £3,433 for the foundation.
The day was live-streamed on our YouTube channel, and the support we received was incredible. Thank you to everyone who followed our journey and donated. Your support is extremely appreciated and has helped us to positively impact many people. We look forward to next year’s event!
