Metrol Springs Ltd, part of the Lesjöfors group, is the UK’s largest manufacturer of nitrogen gas springs. We specialise in heavy duty industrial gas springs, with a diameter from 12mm to 200m, that can produce forces of up to 20 tonnes.

Regulated and fully compliant

NitroSprings and gas springs are pressure vessels and there is guidance and regulation involved when placing them on the market. Certain gas spring products require a high level of regulation, including CE marking, whilst others must be manufactured to sound engineering practice. Rest assured, Metrol conform to the highest standard for the design and manufacture of pressure equipment, PED 68/2014/EU, which allows us to CE mark gas springs. In fact we use this standard to manufacture all our gas springs products, so even if no CE mark is required, our products have been fully tested to the most rigorous standards.
