Types Of Key Locking
Each of our lock types have different key codes which are reflected by the number, design, and positioning of the teeth on one of these mechanical keys. For example, key locking 333 has up to 116 different combinations.
Which locking type do I need?
You can choose any key locking type if you just require a standard lock. The only time a specific lock type would be necessary is if you wanted to match other locks on the premises, or if you have a personal preference.
For example, a HS8 locking type in a residential circumstance could enhance security, as it is not traditionally used in that environment, meaning intruders would not expect it.
